A phaser from Ham­burg, early or mid 90s. The Ger­man man­u­fac­turer Nobels built (or still builds?) very sol­id devices, rugged as Boss ped­als, not very beau­ti­ful, and some of them are still very much in demand because of their unique sound (the Over­drive Spe­cial ODR‑S, for example – please see Over­drive Spe­cial ODR‑S).

The PH‑D Phaser is not neces­sar­ily one of them, but it is a real rar­ity these days. It is also extremely flex­ible. Its 5 con­trols allow everything from a slowly rolling mael­strom of fre­quency over­lays to a gig­gling robot stammer.
